Cash

Cash is a hanging Shellfolk figure made from warm-toned shells, suspended by fine threads from above. His body is rounded and compact, with a patterned shell torso and softly curved shell arms and legs that hang loosely, giving him a relaxed, unforced posture. He wears a simple skirt made from natural fibres that falls lightly around his waist. His head is formed from a small, speckled shell with gentle, uneven eyes and a bright red mouth, giving him an expressive but unassuming appearance. A small tuft of dark fibre sits atop his head. Cash is made from cowrie shells, which were historically used as currency. His overall presence feels calm and observant, as though he notices small details and chooses carefully when to act.
