Website Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the Shellfolk website (“the Website”). The Website is operated by the Shellfolk project (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using this Website, including browsing content or purchasing products, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
1. About Shellfolk
Shellfolk is a creative storytelling and art project featuring original stories, characters, images, and handmade objects. The Website provides access to written and visual content and offers selected physical products for sale, including books and Shellfolk items.

All content is intended for creative, literary, and artistic enjoyment.
2. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website, including stories, text, images, characters, illustrations, names, and designs, is the intellectual property of Shellfolk unless otherwise stated.

You may view and read content for personal, non-commercial use and share links to the Website.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, or adapt any content without prior written permission. You may not use Shellfolk content, characters, or images for commercial purposes. You may not create derivative works based on Shellfolk stories or designs.

Unauthorised use may result in legal action.
3. Products and Sales
We offer physical products for sale through the Website, including books and Shellfolk items.

All prices are listed in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise. Product descriptions and images are provided in good faith. As handmade or artistic items, minor variations may occur.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or update pricing or descriptions without notice.
4. Payments
Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers such as Wix Payments or Square.

We do not collect or store credit card details. Payment processing is governed by the terms and privacy policies of the payment provider. We are not responsible for payment platform outages or errors.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping details, costs, and estimated delivery times are provided at checkout.

We take reasonable care in packaging items to minimise the risk of damage during transit. However, once items are dispatched, delivery is handled by third-party carriers and circumstances beyond our control may occur.

In the event that an item arrives damaged, we may offer a refund of the purchase price upon receipt of reasonable evidence of breakage, such as photographs of the damaged item and packaging. Refunds are limited to the cost of the affected item and do not extend to additional compensation, replacement costs, or consequential losses.

Delivery times are estimates only. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or external factors. Risk of loss passes to the purchaser upon dispatch.
6. Returns and Refunds
If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within a reasonable time so the matter can be assessed.
Due to the nature of books and handmade items, change-of-mind returns are not accepted. Refunds for damaged items are assessed on a case-by-case basis and, where applicable, are limited to the purchase price of the affected item.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights under Australian Consumer Law.
7. Website Use and Conduct
